Birt&Tang's Jasmine tea contains beautifully aromatic Organic Jasmine flowers  that are infused with pure green tea by laying the petals amongst the tea leaves during processing. It was during the Ming dynasty (1368 - 1644) that the idea of sweetening green tea with the exotic perfume of jasmine first came about.



With its exhilarating scent and sweet flavour, jasmine perfectly complements the sharper qualities of fine green tea.  The flowers are thought to have a calming and sedating effect on the nervous system and it is claimed that their scent invigorates the mind.  Research also indicates that properties of Jasmine green tea may help to lower blood cholesterol.
